I had been researching finding a new primary physician. Dr. Compton is a DO (Doctor of Osteopathic) which was important to me. It was my initial visit. He spent about an hour with me. He listened to my concerns regarding my health. He covered my family history and pointed out concerns on lab work and ways to improve my numbers. He also offered some dietary suggestions. I have never had a physician spend that much time with me in all of my medical visits. I never felt rushed. Joelle, his assistant, was very competent and helpful. I would recommend visiting Dr. Compton if you are considering changing or looking for a primary physician.

I like Dr Compton’s demeanor. Unfortunately, I have not been feeling well since I’ve changed medication. I hope my digestive system will improve, since I believe it is causing my loose stool. I didn’t eat and only drink water for a day and a half. I tried Pepto-Bismol, but that hasn’t improved my situation, unfortunately. Please let me know if I need to change the medication, or if you can give me some suggestions. Thank you.

Very nice - listened carefully and didn’t make light of perhaps silly questions he’s been asked a million times by a scared patient who is dealing with something new. That’s important! Also, the staff was the same. A million gold stars! If I had the rad scratch n’ sniff stickers my teachers put on my papers, I’d give ‘em Grape Job for sure.

Dr Compton is very thorough and seems to be sincerely concerned with the health of his patients. In addition, the staff is friendly and efficient! I am grateful that my husband and I found him.

Dr.Compton went over all of my medical record together and did my physical exam, listen d to my concerns and needs and explained my next step. He was kind and professional during my entire appt. I had breast cancer some years ago and went to the priciest, most highly recommended doctors and specialist. Dr. Compton was superior to any of those doctors. He is patient, explains issues carefully and has consistently made me feel like a valued patient and worthwhile person. Kudos to Dr. Compton and his staff!
